Know That You Know –
Classic R&B. Well, not classic Motown R&B, but classic as in 1990s status. If only Sean Combs got his hand on this
group and did their production, then Refining Faith would sound rather flawless. I don’t disagree with their instrumental
selection, but with their talents and their beautiful voices, they have more potential to work with. Lyrically, they have
what it takes to move pews. Now, they just need the background music to push them over the top.
Perfect
Praise – A little slower feel with the piano. Now this is Gospel! I don’t care how bad your day is. If
you throw this on and just chill in calmness for a bit, you will feel the glory of God. How sweet it is to sing how great
our LORD is.
I’ll Never Say No To Jesus – This song brings me back to the
style of the 90s. Refining Faith keeps it real and even offers a little commentary about what we can say no to; everything,
except for Jesus. They are sure to reminds us that Jesus took away all our fears, and we’ve been searching for something
real and genuine like Him throughout all our years.
